Cost / Management Accountant

37.5 per week,1915 per annum. Hours between 7.30 am and 6 pm

Reporting to the Finance Director this position is key to providing the management team with concise and reliable information to help steer all decisions to improve the profitability of the business.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of timely monthly management accounts
• Production of departmental monthly reports
• Detailed preparation and analysis of product costings (both existing and new products)
• Detailed variance and key performance indicators analysis
• Year end stock take control and valuation
• Involvement in company forecasting & budgeting process

The successful applicant will:

..will be CIMA qualified or part qualified preferably with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

A good understanding of MS Office based programmes, particularly Excel, along with general computer literacy and knowledge of a modern ERP solution would be preferred

Good interpersonal skills essential with the ability to communicate with both financial and non financial staff

Salary:

c.£27 - £32k (depending on experience) + contributory pension scheme + death in service benefit + health benefit
