Our Community and Social Responsibility
At Suttons Seeds we believe in working with our community, which is why each year, any seeds that we have remaining are donated to a selection of charities, schools, fundraising projects etc.
Some of the areas we support include:
- Support work with nationwide school gardens projects
- Work with the rehabilitation of prisoners in conjunction with The Eden Project
- Aid to Third World & Developing Countries
- Aid to Countries in need
- Support to nationwide community fundraising projects
- Support to gardening for handicapped & disadvantaged people
- Major supporter to The Royal Horticultural Society’s 2011 “Grow Your Own” initiative
Schools
With more and more schools now encouraging children to embrace the growing bug, this provides you with the perfect opportunity to join together with your local community and promote Children Growing their Own. Kids Gardening Clubs not only help children develop necessary life skills but also places parents and grandparents in your store – with plenty of temptation to spend!
